Documentary is somehow sounds good to me. You see, my NCAE number one result is "Director." I have passion in imagining scenes and all. But what excites me the most is the fact that we will have our documentary in General Santos.
And because I was so excited, I was late. One hour late that all of my crew (I like to use that term. Peace sisters) left me and had the first bus. I had the second bus and travel alone. You would think I was sad because I'm alone? But surprisingly, I. Love. It. I love traveling more than I love food.
As I got there, they said to stop in front of Robinson. I'll ride a tricycle and it will only cost twenty pesos. But the driver said it will cost one hundred fifty. I might be a director wanna be but I am also a lawyer. And this is not justice. I tried to argue but what could I say? It's my first time to be alone in Gen San. I dont knew much. Good thing, the lady I was sitting next at the bus offered help. She help me to get a tricycle that I could spend less.
As I got there, we ate early lunch. I don't eat fish but as I tasted the fish, damn it's so good! Even my group mates agreed to that--they even call the taste as "Namnam."
After we ate, we fix the setting. All I could say is, its so fun. We joke around and all. After we film, we rest. And watch movie that all of us got a broken heart and some even had a teary eyes.
After that, we went to a public market. I'm so amazed. It's no Davao Market. It is well organized. We bought balot and fried chicken in the sidewalk. We also went to a very huge sari-sari store that I think sells more product than our central convenience here.
It is fun being there. And there's one thing I realized that I want to emphasize. We are busy growing up that we forgot our grandparents is also growing old too. I realized how much I love my grandparents.

Compare Neighbor and Family
I live in a high end subdivision somewhere in Cabantian. I am a friendly person but that doesn't mean I get out in my house frequently and greet my neighbors. In fact, i do not know any of my neighbors. To the top of that, we don't have any neighbor in the back., right, left, and even across us.
Generally, I could say that there are differences and similarities between my family and neighbors. First, my family is in my blood. Whether I like it or not, I can never choose family. But I could choose whose neighbors to talk to. Another, family is the one who supports you and gives you all the basic needs in life and all you wanted in life--education, shelter, love, care, clothes, food, financially. Blood is thicker than blood. When you'll be sick, it's not your neighbor who will attend and nurse you. It's always your family.
It's funny how I could describe it like neighborhood is not necessary. But it is. Neighbors are the one who helps. We didn't realized it but we're always watching each other's back. Neighbors has a big impact in the process of molding ourselves. They are there to guide and tell you what is right. They even tell what's acceptable so you could avoid judgement.
Neighbors are still your family. It's just that they are secondary.

Getting Out of My Prison Cell
Its funny how ourselves, our very own selves, are the one who imprisoned us. We are the one who limits ourselves to do this and do that. We are afraid what will others will say. We are afraid that what we are going to do is not on our culture and if we do that, we will be judged. We will be badass to our society.
Even me saying bad ass will be ridiculous to others ears. That word is taboo in this territory. But of course, in America, it is not. Though it is still negative word, but it is recognized by american people. Deviance is always on the perception of a person.
I love American culture. Their habits like house party, traveling, and how they could have easy life school. Of course I also love their fashion. But if I wear it in here in the Philippines? I would be just a potato of fun. People may not say it on your face but you'll know on their looks.
So all I did is mix. Use their culture, together with Filipino culture. Go to house party, travel around, and work hard to have easy life in school. I also mix the way I cloth myself especially outside the school. I always wanted to be a tumblr girl.
But the important thing is, be what you are. Do what you want. Don't let other people interfere with your interest. What matters is your happiness. You are not born to please anybody.

Who am I without you?
Who am I without you
Who am I without you? They say no man is an island. No one could stand alone without having a pair of shoulder to lean on, a footsteps to follow, a hand to hold. No one could survive this tragic life without having any single beating heart as a companion.
I wouldn't be here if you weren't here too. You were my Alpha and my Omega. You were there in every step of the way. Without you, I wouldn't be the Arniela they have known and I wouldn't have the confidence. You were the one who built my self esteem telling me that I'm good at this and that--that I could do anything. You were the one who gave me moral, financial, and all kinds of support. You didn't just gave me a house for security, but a house I could call home. You didn't gave me wealth to buy all of my wants but you gave me wealth that no money in this world could ever buy. Without you, I wouldn't be waking up every 9 am every MWF and 6 am TTh just to go to school. Without you, I'll probably in the dumpsite looking for scavenge goods. Without you, I am probably on the street with only thin cloth covering small part of my body.
Without you, I wouldn't be so close to God. I am who I am now and that's all because of my family.

Blog entry # 4
ATENEAN CULTURE
Culture is the characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, defined by everything from language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts.
-What is Culture? | Definition of Culture by Kim Ann Zimmermann, Live Science Contributor | February 19, 2015 08:29pm ET <http://www.livescience.com/21478-what-is-culture-definition-of-culture.html>
Every school has its own culture and in AdDU, it's called the Atenean culture. Ateneo is rich in culture. Example, Intramurals is supposed to be celebrated one week or three days or just a maximum of ten days, but here in Ateneo, it is a 3 month event (MWF every actuivity period). It also has sportsfest every division to see and prepare for the "Ateneo Fiesta" celebrated 3 days. Ateneo has also a lot of shirts like every month has a shirt and one of the Ateneo culture is that when someone protest about it, others will just say "Welcome to Ateneo." It became an inside joke. Ateneo has a lot of facilities that you could never found in other schools especially in technology. One of the culture of Ateneo is having a right manner especially when disembarking the elevator and saying "Thank you" to the in charge of the Elevator. Some Atenenan are conyo and pabebe but that's our language. Atenean has an impression of being high class and maarte but they never really know.
Culture is the identity of a nation, places, country, organization, society, groups and many others. That is our culture and that's what makes Atenean stand out and different.
Blog Entry #3: Tigso
TIGSO FOR OLYMPICS
Tigso is a game that was passed down generations by generations of Filipino youth. This game is one of the identity of Filipino culture for it originated here on the Philippines. This game is highly interactive for it uses your physical capabilities coordinated with mental strategies.
this game is so easy to play. All you need is two pole or kingdom that have a fair distance and having 5 and above of soldiers on each side. The two kingdoms should be represented with a rock that could be step on by the "guard" (only one player could be a guard) all the time. The others will be the one who will catch the opponents soldier and goal to step on opponents "rock" but before that, they need to step on their base. If the player one from the kingdom one step on their base and ran out and then the player one from the kingdom two will step on its base and ran out after the player one from the kingdom one, the player one from the kingdom one cannot chase the player one from the kingdom two for he/she would be under him/her. If a soldier was caught, he will be staying in the opponents kingdom like a prisoner until someone from their kingdom will rescue and save him/her by touching him/her. The goal of this game is to step on the rock of the other kingdom.
This game is fun and exciting and without any bias, this game would really be qualified in Olympics for aside of being fun, it develops and enhances different aspects and values of life especially in sports. It enhances the Sportsmanship, the leadership, the communication, the unity, the strategic plan, the open-mindedness and many more.

Blog Entry #2 I and the world
Every person has his/her own end-of-the-world moments. It is part of life that will help us to be more alert in bigger difficulties.
I encountered a lot of problems in my life and some really did shook my world. One of it was a difficulty that I never imagined would affect my well being. My parents were separated but I'm not the child who cries every night in her sleep because of that. I'm not like that for I was like four years old when they got separated and as a kid, I dont remember any bondings I had with my family completely and as my dad as a seaman didn't help.
That difficulty made me strong--made me independent. I have a mind set of "nothing stays forever" so I better not rely on it permanently. As I grew up, it was never a problem to me. Like I don't care if my father didn't really support my studies or anything because I got my mom to fill up all of my needs.
Now the tricky part is when something happened that me and my mom got into a really huge and serious fight until now. So I stay with my father right now. It's not like he can't support me or it would be hard for him to but it's just that my father and together with her new wife didn't know budgeting so the money is not really stable. It's a problem for me because I don't want to stop in my studies or be hassled because of their financial handling problems.
But just like in country, though the Government has a lot of corrupt politician, it struggles and work hard to survive. Our country faces financial problems because of unrecorded purchases or lost money but it's still alive and keep on kicking just like me.

Blog entry #1: Five accepted definition of Sociology
SOCIOLOGY
sociology
[sō′sē·ol′əjē]
Etymology: L, socius + Gk, logos, science
the study of group behavior within a society.
When you search "Socioloogy" over the internet, a lot of definitions comes out. Some were from wikipedia and some were from blogs and most commonly, some were from online dictionaries. Some could be accurate and some could be not. So I researched about Sociology with I what I had believed to be from accurate sites.
According to the following:
" Sociology is the study of human social relationships and institutions. Sociology’s subject matter is diverse, ranging from crime to religion, from the family to the state, from the divisions of race and social class to the shared beliefs of a common culture, and from social stability to radical change in whole societies. Unifying the study of these diverse subjects of study is sociology’s purpose of understanding how human action and consciousness both shape and are shaped by surrounding cultural and social structures."(c) http://sociology.unc.edu/:
"Sociology is the academic study of social behaviour, including its origins, development, organization, and institutions. It is a social science that uses various methods of emperical investigations and critical analysis to develop a body of knowledge about social order, social disorder and social change. Many sociologists aim to conduct research that may be applied directly to social policy and welfare, while others focus primarily on refining the theoretical understanding of social processes. Subject matter ranges from the micro level of individual agency and interaction to the macro level of systems and the social structure."
(c)http://en.wikipedia.org/
"Sociology, scientific study of human social behavior. As the study of humans in their collective aspect, sociology is concerned with all group activities—economic, social, political, and religious. Sociologists study such areasas bureaucracy, community, deviant behavior, family, public opinion, social change, social mobility, social stratification, and such specific problems as crime, divorce, child abuse, and substance addiction. Sociology tries to determinethe laws governing human behavior in social contexts; it is sometimes distinguished as a general social science from the special social sciences, such as economics and political science, which confine themselves to a selected group ofsocial facts or relations."
(c) http://encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com/
"Sociology is the systematic and scientific study of human social life. Sociologists study people as they form groups and interact with one another. The groups they study may be small, such as married couples, or large, such as a subculture of suburban teenagers. Sociology places special emphasis on studying societies, both as individual entities and as elements of a global perspective. "
(c)http://www.sparknotes.com
"Sociology is: the study of society. It is a social science involving the study of the social lives of people, groups, and societies. It is also the study of our behavior as social beings, covering everything from the analysis of short contacts between anonymous individuals on the street to the study of global social processes. It is the scientific study of social aggregations, the entities through which humans move throughout their lives'
and an overarching unification of all studies of humankind, including history, psychology, and economics."

REFLECTION:
I could say that what we had discussed and what had the textual had laid for us were almost the same. What we had shared during our first meeting were the fundamentals of Sociology. The difference between our discussion aand the textual is that in the textual, it was elaborated and expanded but the vital points were still the same. I learned that sociology studies the connection and relationship between individuals in the street and to those people on higher state. It studies how an individual unique person socialize with other individuals and how their weaknesses and strengths could be a forte to each other.
SUGGESTION:
I observed that people on my age loves interactive ativities and team buildings so I suggest to have a fun and effective games that could build our friendship and strengthen it.
